The sandwiches are amazing! Pita tosh is one of the best things I've had since in Florida. Also, it has the perfect beachy feel without having to spend 20 dollars on good food.

My husband and I went here this afternoon and we were SO impressed! I ordered the veggie sandwich on wheat pita bread. It had hummus, lettuce, tomato, carrots, and added avocado. Everything tasted so fresh and it was made with high quality ingredients. I think I said "this is sooo good" between every bite! It also came with this very unique dipping sauce that I couldn't get enough of. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a hearty, healthy lunch option!

Awesome sandwiches and love the toys for the kids to play with. Pita tosh was excellent-turkey and veggies with hummus. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were delish.

Terribly disappointed. I have been ordering their food for years same thing, been away for awhile and it fell apart. Service said she didn't have time to discuss my dissatisfaction.

Sit outside in the sun and sip wonderful fruity smoothies (Try The Boss- you won't be disappointed!) and yummy pita sandwiches. No hesitations in recommending this little gem.

To be fair, I like Stir It Up. I always eat there when I make a weekend beach trip, but on my last trip I found out they switched all of their orders to to-go orders, which means that they're producing tons of unnecessary waste. For example, my sandwich was wrapped in paper wrapped in aluminum foil, chips were in a separate baggie, sauce was in a separate plastic cup w lid and was stuffed in a bag all for me to turn around from the pick up window and unpack at my seat. I expect more from Stir It Up, especially since they are right near the ocean and I don't want to see that excess packaging wind up on the beach. Additionally, the freezer was down so there weren't any smoothies...no bueno for a day at the beach. Also, they closed an hour early (supposedly bc of the rain slowing things down but there were still customers).

Food is consistently fresh and good, but who cares about GLUTEN FREE CHIPS if you can't get your burrito or quesadilla or sandwich on a GLUTEN FREE wrap or other gluten free product??? I love to eat there but my husband can't and neither can several of my friends because they are gluten free. With all the effort Stir it Up puts into being so health conscious with their food choices I just don't get it - I think they are seriously missing the boat and a lot of potential customers by not offering gluten free wrap/sandwich/quesadilla options.

Delicious food made from fresh ingredients. Make sure you order ahead of time because it takes a while to prepare the food. BRING CASH.

Fie on anyone disses on Stir It Up! Best place to have a little nosh before hitting the beach. Staff is always lovely and I've literally never had a bad sandwich there. Pita Tosh is the perfect fuel for a swim. I live in New Orleans now, but I make sure I stop in every time I'm home. Really terrific addition to St. Aug Beach.

Used to love this place, but don't like any of the changes "new management" has brought. This place always had the perfectly quirky, A-Street natural beach vibe to it. The menu is relatively the same, but the ambiance is gone. Loved the menu written out on long wooden boards, now they literally have a cheap looking laminated card that says "take one". The phrase don't screw up a good thing applies here. Keep things as they were and you'll be far more successful.

The food and smoothies were amazing! My husband loved the chicken salad and I loved my burrito. Sitting on the porch outside was very relaxing. They had a high chair for our son which made it easier to enjoy the delicious food. Great surfer vibe! Highly recommend this place! We will definitely come back.

Pita tosh!!!!! Just do it! Amazing sandwich and a cool little place by the beach. I love this place.

Everyone else was right - my burrito was delicious, my daughter's quesadillas were excellent, the salsa was fresh and yummy, and the home-made hot sauce was spicy and flavorful. Definitely worth a visit! The two guys running the place we're also super friendly.

I missed this place the first time I drove by it. I was expecting a stand-alone shop, but it's located where the Pit Surf Shop is. The food was very fresh and delicious. My fiancee loved that the Avacado Melt had an entire Hass Avacado in it. I had the Paddy's Melt which was really good as well. It tasted so fresh and surprisingly light, and that was a good thing because we had an engagement photo shoot session shortly after! The honey mustard in the sandwich was goooooooood. The bread was toasted perfectly as well! (Check out the pic I attached). The sandwiches also come with a few Tostito's Crispy Rounds-esque chips that don't do anything to compliment your meal. If anything, it just seems to cheapen it. My only gripe is that it seems a bit expensive. After all, it is a CASH ONLY place. But the ingredients are fresh and the final product is wonderful.

Smoothies, Sandwiches and Sunshine, this little beach haven has it all. Stir it Up was one of the first places I was taken on my introductory visit to St. Auggie Beach years ago, and I've never gotten over it! Their pitas and sandwiches are positively STACKED with freshness and, with names like the Pita Tosh, the Wailer, and the Cheesy Chick, it's never hard to remember what you loved on your last visit. (And I'm sure you loved whatever it was!) Highlight moment: Last time I visited, the crew was a little beat from a beach day so we stopped for a smoothie. For no reason at all, our lovely cashier placed a fresh, warm chocolate chip cookie at the top of each of our cool, fruity smoothies. Just heavenly!

Loved my "sandwich" here. The selections are innovative in a good way. The portions are just right. I don't know if what I had should be called a wrap or what, but it was good. This is a walk up place with ultra casual seating outdoors. The staff was super polite and smiling. Don't go up the stairs thinking the "up" in Stir It Up indicates that anything is up there, nothing is there. Smoothies are refreshing also. If you are going to the beach this would be a great place to go since the sandwiches won't make you feel lethargic.

I am obsessed with the smokin turkey!!! The food is so fresh and they picked the best dressing to tie it together, Annies Goddess!!!

My best friend of 18 years lives in St. Auggie and whenever I go visit I HAVE to go to Stir it Up. The smoothies are my favorite anywhere. Hopefully technology will one day make it to where they can send me a Jaden Sky Chai to Orlando whenever I crave one. The Boss is also delicious and great after a night out. They put a packet of cherry Emergen-C in it. Gotta boost the immune system! Who knows what creepy people were in that biker bar last night. The chicken salad is the tastiest I've ever shoved in my mouth. The Pita Tosh is sandwich heaven. Go to the beach close by to this place and work up an appetite. Then walk up and order some delicious, healthy food. Enjoy it on their porch or take it back to your beach spot. This is what Florida is all about.

I was very disappointed in the service I received at Stir It Up. I placed a phone order with them to pick up my food, and when I arrived at the restaurant, I saw a sign that said "cash only." I have absolutely no problem with businesses that do this, but I had never been there before, so I had no idea this was their policy. When I told the girl at the counter that I didn't have enough cash, she pointed me to an ATM nearby. After taking out cash and returning to pay for my order, I suggested to her that the employees should mention this to people who place phone orders so they'll know to bring cash with them. Her reply was, "Yeah, we don't really announce that." Confused, I tried to clarify this with her, and she just kept repeating the same statement over and over, as if she didn't care in the slightest that this was an inconvenience. I also explained that when I placed my order over the phone, I asked the person on the line how much the total would be, but they hung up on me. The cashier's response to this was, "Yeah, we don't really tell people how much it is until they get here." In addition, they charged me for an item that I did not order. In terms of food quality, one person in my group really enjoyed the salad with hummus, but the burritos and tuna pita were not very good. The people running this business had an opportunity to win over a new long-term customer, but they blew it by being extremely rude and inconsiderate. I will never go there again.

I had the Pita Tosh, going along with all the beaming reviews here! It was delicious -- love the avocado!!! The Large smoothie is definitely more than enough for one thirsty adult! The Cheesy Chick Quesadilla (chicken and cheese quesadilla) was HUGE and also tasty (I sampled off my daughter's). OH YES, and the fresh salsa! Loved it! I didn't so much care for the tight parking/difficulty getting out, but if you're staying at the beach, save your gas and walk there. It's worth it!

I love this little place. Counter service, great vibe, Bob Marley lyrics, outdoor seating, and you can see the ocean while you eat. I've been twice, and both times I got the Nutty Mother, which is the only salad, and it is SO GOOD. I got the chicken salad, and then the salad also has avocado, grapes, cheese, almonds, cucumber, tomato, and really good dressing. I wish I knew the recipe for their dressing! Such a nice islandy place for lunch :)

Other people's reviews did not steer me wrong. Two words: PITA TOSH. Yes, it really is as awesome, flavorful, and delicious as other people have written. My bf got the surfer chick, which was pretty decent, but really couldn't compare to the pita tosh. Their smoothies are pretty good also. CASH ONLY, so make sure you have some cash on you. Prices were very reasonable though, so you really shouldn't need too much cash to fill your belly with absolute deliciousness. There aren't that many tables at Stir it Up and they were all occupied when we got here, but that wasn't a problem for us, as it was a nice, sunny day and we took our food to go and eat elsewhere.

Get the uprising smoothie... Peanut butter, banana, espresso and coffee beans. Excellent!

Oooh my gosh. What can you get here that ISN'T good!? If you're not sure, start with the Pita Tosh. Just do it. Really. I think I ate at least 50 of these during my time at college in St. Augustine. And their smoooothies are to die for as well, almost a meal in themselves for how thick and creamy they are. Plus, the have Goddess dressing to dip (or pour on) your entree of choice and chips and fresh salsa... a deck, patio, and picnic tables... on the same street you can walk/drive/ride straight onto the beach from. Fresh cookies or whatever else they feel like cooking up so nothing goes to waste. Super friendly and chill local beach staff. Cash only (or at least it was when I was there). The PERFECT place to come get something to eat in the middle of your day at the beach whether you're a tourist, student, local, or alien.

Have nothing really different to say from all of the other rave reviews. This is my first stop when ever in town. Been coming here for years. Last visit had the Green Veggie Burrito, it was off the hook. A perfect combo of stuff in a tortilla shell. Their smoothies are unreal. Stiff cup of Joe in the morning, sitting on the deck. Don't get much better.

Been coming here for the past 10 years each time I visit St. Augustine. Pita Tosh is my go to, each time. Everything here is healthy, tasty, and totally reasonably priced. Less than 1 block to the beach- definitely worth a try if you're into quick healthy bites!

I want to support what everyone else has written. I love this place. The food, the service, the care, and positive attitude all work to produce fun, fresh, and healthy food. I'm a loyal customer.

As usual, the service is a little slow, but well worth the wait. I've sampled most of the menu but the Pita Tosh on wheat is by far my favorite. The slightly warm pita makes the hummus extra creamy. Then you get the spicy turkey, crisp greens and carrots, and the cool tomato and avocado. I could eat this everyday of my life. My friend had the Smoked Turkey pita and a smoothie with espresso (I can't remember the name). She said the smoothie wasn't great but somewhat enjoyable. Her pita looked pretty basic with turkey, cheese, and greens. I wish I lived closer to indulge myself more frequently.

This place is very okay, nothing that we ate was anything that I would write home about. We had the chicken salad and pita tosh, both were good the highlight the dressing of all things. The wait on the other hand was something I shall write about (30 min on two sandwiches),oh and the bell for tipping was a bit crass.

Fantastic little place right by the beach. Outside dining isn't usually my thing but people have raved about this place and with good reason. I ordered a surfer chick and the GF picked the pita tosho, my meal was simple enough, burrito with rice black beans and white chicken meat but probably one of the best burritos I've had in some time, perfect proportion of ingredients not too much rice and the meat was succulent and tender. I had a bite of the pita tosho and was in heaven, and I thought the burrito was good, all topped off with one of there delicious smoothies. Fantastic all around!

Great pitas and smoothies. Pita Tosh was delicious, wife had the chicken salad pita which was equally tasty. Relaxed, reasonable prices, would definitely go back.

We stopped here one afternoon to get a smoothie and it was awesome. We got a Twisted and a an Uprising. The Twisted was very good but the Uprising was awesome! We also got a brownie which was deliciously decadent. We saw some of the meals there like the Pita Tosh and they looked really good. We'll have to go back sometime to try them.

YUM! This is the perfect place for lunch. Yummy smoothies, yummy sandwiches (most include an entire sliced avocado!), and only steps from the beach. If the sign is true, not only will you get your chips & a pickle, but all of your wildest dreams will come true! I recommend the Avocado Melt paired with Jaden's Berry Chai smoothie.

Stir It Up is an excellent place for lunch! This cute Bob Marley themed beach restaurant is far better than Mango Mangos across the street. Stir it up has lots of veggie options and quite a few for meat lovers too! Avocado is served with almost every dish. I love the Good Karma...a veggie quesadilla with squash and spelt tortilla. The avocado melt is great too. I have never been dissatisfied with anything I have ordered here. Everything is made to order so you may have to wait, especially if they are busy. You're at the beach so take it easy and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere while you're there. This place is a must try if you come to St.Aug.
